Plain-English terms for using the book PDF and the toolkit you purchased.
When these terms apply
This licence applies to new purchases from 2 October 2026. Rights previously granted in writing for earlier purchases remain valid; this version does not remove those rights. A written Enterprise quote or agreement sets the scope of an Enterprise purchase.
For purchases before 2 October 2026, earlier written rights remain valid. View the terms published on 28 September 2026 (PDF).
Choose the scope you purchased

What your purchase includes
The Book PDF product contains the book PDF only, without the toolkit. The standalone Toolkit-only product excludes the book PDF. A book PDF is included only where the purchased product explicitly includes the book. When included, it is subject to the same named-user limit as that product. The toolkit contains the ten working resource files, Start Here and this licence.
Who may access the source files?
A named user is an identified individual covered by the purchase. Access to the ZIP, book PDF, templates, workbooks and other reusable files must stay within the licensed group. A shared drive is suitable only if access is restricted to those users.
What licensed users may do
Use the frameworks in your work and adapt toolkit templates for your organisation, including company branding. You may share completed outputs internally, such as completed policies, analyses, presentations and workbooks, with colleagues who are not licensed users. This permission covers completed work; it does not permit redistribution of blank templates or reusable toolkit files beyond the licensed group.
What the licence does not permit
Do not resell or sublicense the materials, republish them publicly, or post them on a public website or file-sharing service. Do not give source files or the book PDF to anyone outside the licensed group, inside or outside your organisation. Renaming, rebranding or adapting a source file does not remove these limits.
Ownership
The original book and toolkit materials remain the intellectual property of Christophe Atten. Your purchase gives you permission to use them within the scope of this licence; it does not transfer ownership of the original materials.
Updates and services
This licence does not promise future updates or automatic delivery of updates. Any update entitlement expressly granted in writing remains valid. Services are sold separately. A co-branded template set, live walkthrough, training or other service is included only if a separate written quote or agreement expressly includes it.
